Job Summary

We are working closely withSefton MBCto assist with the appointment of anYouth Justice Case Manager on a 3-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: 19.88 - 26.35 per hour

Summary:

The Youth Justice Case Manager will undertake assessments manage risk safeguard children and work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver effective interventions that promote the safety wellbeing and future success of children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs risks and strengths of children and young people involved with the Youth Justice Service.
  • Develop and deliver intervention plans aimed at preventing offending and reducing reoffending.
  • Safeguard children and young people promoting their welfare while managing risk and protecting the public.
  • Prepare assessments reports and court documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with court orders out-of-court disposals and intervention programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with partner agencies including Social Care Police Education Health and Probation to achieve positive outcomes.

Essentials:

  • Experience assessing needs risks and vulnerabilities and developing effective intervention plans.
  • Strong knowledge of Youth Justice legislation safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Experience managing risk of harm vulnerability and public protection.
  • Experience working collaboratively within multi-agency partnerships.
  • Ability to engage and build positive relationships with hard-to-reach children young people and families.
