- Gain practical insight into electrical system design for offshore wind projects.
- Develop an understanding of the interfaces between transmission systems onshore and offshore substations and wind turbine generators.
- Build awareness of the critical importance of safety throughout project design and operation.
- Work across the project lifecycle from development through construction to operation supporting a robust through-life electrical system design.
- Contribute to the main electrical system design including onshore and offshore HVAC and HVDC systems.
- Create electrical system simulation models and analyse system behaviour and grid code compliance.
- Visit project sites to gain first-hand insight into their development and delivery.
- Take ownership of a defined project with a scope agreed by the team.
- Ongoing studies in Electrical Engineering.
- Eligibility to complete a year in industry placement as part of the degree programme.
- Very good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate workloads independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Confidence working in a diverse team environment and engaging with a range of stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel to other sites when required with travel expenses covered.

- A minimum of five years residence in the UK due to the potential requirement for National Security Vetting.
