A successful primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident primary practitioner who can deliver engaging lessons support pupils through an important stage of their education and help them prepare for the transition to secondary school.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a Year 6 class delivering a broad and balanced curriculum while supporting pupils academic progress confidence and wellbeing. You will play a key role in preparing pupils for their SATs and ensuring they feel equipped for the next stage of their learning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.

• Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and SATs.

• Monitoring progress and adapting teaching to meet different learning needs.

• Creating a positive inclusive and well-managed classroom.

• Communicating effectively with parents carers and colleagues.

• Supporting pupils transition to secondary school.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

• Experience teaching in a UK primary school ideally in Key Stage 2.

• Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.

• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.

• A commitment to inclusive teaching and pupil development.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.
