An excellent primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking for a passionate and committed Year 6 Teacher to join its team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated teacher who can inspire pupils deliver high-quality lessons and support children as they prepare for the transition to secondary education.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience teaching within a UK primary school ideally across Key Stage 2.
Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
Ability to adapt lessons to support pupils with different abilities and needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A positive approach to supporting pupils academic progress and wellbeing.

As the Year 6 Teacher you will take responsibility for a class of pupils in their final year of primary school. You will deliver a broad and engaging curriculum monitor progress and help pupils develop the knowledge and confidence needed for their next stage of education.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Year 6 curriculum.
Preparing pupils for SATs and end-of-key-stage assessments.
Assessing learning and providing clear constructive feedback.
Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom.
Working closely with colleagues parents and carers.
Supporting pupils social development and transition to secondary school.
