Job Summary
Are you an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Windsor A high-achieving primary school is seeking a committed and creative teacher to join its team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging lessons nurture early development and help pupils build the foundations for long-term academic success.
The Role
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of Year 1 pupils.
Support childrens transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
Develop pupils early reading writing phonics and mathematical skills.
Create a positive inclusive classroom where children feel confident and motivated to learn.
Monitor progress through regular assessment and adapt teaching to support individual needs.
Work closely with teaching assistants colleagues and parents to support pupil development.
Maintain high standards of behaviour safeguarding and classroom organisation.
What Were Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching in KS1 ideally within a Year 1 classroom.
Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum phonics and early literacy development.
Effective classroom management and the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A positive adaptable approach and a genuine passion for helping young learners succeed.
