Hours: MonFri 7:00am4:30pm alternate Saturdays 7:00am11:30am

Are you an experienced HGV Technician HGV Mechanic or Workshop Supervisor looking for your next career move

Our client a well-established organisation within the waste management and environmental services sector is looking for an experienced HGV Workshop Supervisor to join their maintenance team in Beenham Berkshire.

This is a hands-on supervisory role where you will oversee HGV Technicians and Apprentices while continuing to carry out vehicle servicing maintenance diagnostics and repairs.

• Supervise and allocate work to HGV Technicians and Apprentices.
• Carry out hands-on HGV servicing maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
• Manage job cards service sheets defects and VOR reporting.
• Support fleet maintenance parts management and stock control.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety LOLER and company procedures.
• Work closely with the Workshop Manager to improve workshop efficiency.

Were looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / LGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician with supervisory or team-lead experience.

You will need:

• LGV Class 2 licence (minimum) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds HGV Parts 13 or equivalent.
• Strong HGV maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics electrics and mechanical systems.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
