S J Bargh is a long-established family business with a proud reputation in milk logistics haulage pallet distribution and Scania franchise operations. Were expanding our Lancaster workshop and looking for a Workshop Controller to help drive efficiency compliance and fleet uptime across our Scania and milk logistics operation.

The Role

Youll lead daily workshop loading job planning and workflow control ensuring technicians are allocated effectively and work progresses smoothly. Youll maintain visibility of WIP uphold DVSA and OLicence compliance and act as the operational link between the workshop and the milk logistics team.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily workshop loading and job planning
• Monitoring job progression and resolving bottlenecks
• Managing R2C workflow defect logging and inspection compliance
• Overseeing TruTac defect management and OLicence alignment
• Tyre management Gardner Denver liaison and ATF/tacho lane control
• Providing planners with accurate completion forecasts
• Coordinating emergent repairs and minimising downtime

What Youll Bring

• Workshop coordination or supervisory experience
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Knowledge of TruTac R2C or similar systems
• Understanding of DVSA standards and OLicence compliance
• Ability to work accurately in a fastpaced environment
• Transport Manager CPC desirable but not essential
