Job Summary

Nature of Post: Routine. A challenging yet highly rewarding role within the busy OF5 led G3 Operate Pillar. The assurance role is critical to the outputs of the HQ including maintaining its licence to operate. The role itself is interesting and varied with roaming rights across the LWC Op Gps Fd Army and our major collective training exercises as well as policy advice (as liberal as possible) and ensuring training is compliant with Service Inquiry and Health and Safety Executive guidance and direction. Very much a team environment you will learn a lot and have fun in the process. Operate is output focused meaning how where and when you deliver is up to you as long as you hit deadlines - a huge freedom in work life balance

Arm: Army/E2/Reserve

Capbadge: Previous work and KSE within a Combat or Combat Sp role would be a prerequisite due to the requirement to visit a majority of Reserve training units in these roles. Combined Arms tactics now being so important too.

Other Restrictions: Reserve experience is essential for credibility; open to all candidates so no other restrictions. 44 x RSD ideally preferred but flexible.

Addition post information:

This role will be empowered to analyse plan and deliver the LWCs engagement with all Regular and Army Reserve units and training events to conduct training assurance and improve the Fd Armys training output.

Will require taking the initiative to autonomously cohere a wide-range of challenging work-strands to drive Army training excellence through Tri-Service integration best practice continuous improvement and innovation.

WO1 responsible for contributing to and ensuring standardisation continuity and coherence of all Regular and Reserve individual training assurance across the LWC.

Employer comment: Requires a WO1 with KSE in the Reserves to ensure that Regular and Reserve training is both fit for purpose across the full range of training activities.
