Post Definition: Watch-keeping in HQs working alongside other units passing information in line with the the COs intent and battle space picture.

Responsibilities: To be familiar with current tactical doctrine and operating procedures.

1. To be familiar with current tactical doctrine and operating procedures.
2. To understand and be competent in the use of HQ communications and information systems.
3. To be familiar with the general org div of responsibilities command & control and staff procedures of the HQ to which or likely to be attached
4. To train as a Watchkeeper/Liaison Officer on Regular and Reserve Exercises.
5. To maintain readiness to enable rapid deployment in role as required. This can include being held at R2 (5 days NTM) if desired.
6. Principle RHQ Project Officer tasked with the co-ordination of Regt level projects including AT and subordinate development.
7. Be prepared to conduct any further tasks as designated by the CO or OC.
8. Act as Coy 2IC or OC when required.
