Job Summary

Role: Welfare Assistant (1:1)

Location: Westminster Community Primary School

Grade: Grade 3 Scale Point 3-4

Actual Salary: 18816 to 19111

Hours: 32.5 per week // 5 days per week // 39 weeks per year

Contract type: Fixed Term (For as long as the child remains at our school the child is in receipt of enhanced funding and/or the child requires additional 1:1 support)

Prior to the start of the new academic year the Governors and Headteacher at Westminster Community Primary School wish to appoint a skilled and committed 1:1 Welfare Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare

  • Have good organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Have flair talent and initiative
  • Demonstrate a commitment to raising standards.
  • Be able to work in close partnership with the whole school community.
