Weekend Care Professional

We are looking for a Weekend Care Professional to join our Home Instead Basildon team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for regular weekend work who enjoys helping others and wants to make a real difference to peoples lives.

Clear and reliable weekend availability is essential.

As a Weekend Care Professional you could support clients with:

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Light household duties
• Medication support in line with training and care plans
• Supporting clients with their daily routines
• Helping clients maintain their independence
• Accompanying clients to appointments shopping or social activities
• Providing reassurance and emotional support
• Letting the office know about any changes or concerns

A cup of tea and a chat helping someone prepare their breakfast accompanying them on a walk or simply being there when they need someone these moments can make a huge difference.

Qualifications :

No formal care qualifications or previous care experience are required.

Full training and induction will be provided.

We are looking for attitude values and personality above everything else.

A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle is desirable due to the community-based nature of the role.

Additional Information :

This is a weekend-focused position. Applicants must have clear and reliable availability to work Saturdays and Sundays.
