How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
Inthismultifacetedroleyourprimaryfocuswillbeoptimisingwarehouseefficiencyandensuringthesafetimelytransportationofour engineeringproducts.
Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver goods to customers and other branches during holidays and busy periods.
Process and record goods in accurately
Store and organise warehouse stock and arrange in store merchandise
Be responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory delivery service to internal (branch) customers
Fulfil customer orders in a timely manner pick accurately and pack carefully for despatch.
Promote and actively ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the office stores and trade counter
Book goods in and out using our operating system
Answer customers questions about merchandise and advise customers on merchandise selection
Be instrumental in accurate and timely stock counts

Wearesearchingforahardworkingadaptableindividualthathasgreatcustomerserviceskillsandanabilitytoworkinafastpacedenvironment. You will need:
A full clean UK driving licence and previous experience driving a delivery van is essential
Forklift licence is desired but training can be given.
Previous experience in a warehouse role is essential
Demonstrated ability of working within a fast paced environment
Knowledge of engineering and welding processes and requirements is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
A working knowledge of the health and safety requirements of the HASAW Act
Knowledge of ISO9002 is desirable but not essential as training will be given
