Warehouse Operative Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join our this role you will be responsible for handling goods in and out of the warehouse ensuring inventory is accurately stored and dispatched efficiently. Youll play a key part in maintaining an organised and safe warehouse environment.

The main working hours for this role will be Monday Friday 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00 with rotation of 1 week 06:00-14:00 & 2 weeks 14:00-22:00.

Fixed Term Contract - End of June 2027.

Qualifications :

Your role as a Warehouse Operative 

• Receive unload and store incoming goods.
• Pick pack and dispatch orders in line with customer requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks or forklifts (if trained/certified).
• Perform stock checks and report discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and data entry using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Label organise and restock inventory.
• Cooperate with team leader and colleagues to meet performance targets.
• Other general warehouse duties as assigned.

What youll bring... 

Essential:

• Good physical fitness ability to lift and move items.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Punctual reliable and hard-working.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Valid forklift license (Counterbalance or Reach).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Manual handling tasks & operating different types of MHE.
• Use of safety equipment as per company policy.
