Warehouse Cleaning Operative

We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Cleaning Operative to work at a busy logistics and distribution facility in Lount. This is a temporary holiday cover assignment offering regular weekday hours.

This is a physically demanding role requiring candidates to maintain high standards of cleanliness across warehouse and office environments while working safely and professionally at all times.

• General cleaning of warehouse areas
  
• Sweeping mopping and maintaining warehouse floors
  
• Moving pallets and stock as required
  
• Cleaning office areas meeting rooms and breakout spaces
  
• Cleaning kitchens canteens and welfare facilities
  
• Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
  
• Emptying waste bins and disposing of waste appropriately
  
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site
  
• Reporting any health and safety concerns or maintenance issues
  
• Working safely in accordance with site procedures and PPE requirements
  

• Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
  
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual duties
  
• Reliable punctual and professional approach
  
• Excellent attention to detail
  
• Friendly approachable and customer-focused manner
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Right to work in the UK
  
• Must be able to provide valid photographic identification on arrival to site
  

Candidates must provide and wear:

• Safety footwear
  
• High visibility vest

• Black trousers
  
• Appropriate PPE as required
  

Successful candidates must complete the following training before commencing work:

• COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
  
• BICSc Understanding Colour Codes
  
• BICSc Hand Hygiene Explained
  
• BICSc Understanding Chemical Hazard Pictograms
  
• BICSc Understanding PPE
