We have an exciting opportunity for a Waking NightSupport Workerto join ourAccommodation Based Servicesteam providing housing and support to Care Experienced young people inHereford.This is an Ofsted-regulated service looking after 16-25 year olds.


We are looking for aNight Support Workerto join our service in afull-time position. In this position you will work 33.75 hours per week. The shift pattern will run on 3 x 11.25hr shifts per week waking nights on a Saturday Sunday and Monday from 8pm to 8.15am (with a 1 hour break on site). Applications from everyone are welcome including those with lived experience and care experience.


  • You will assist the Management Team with the oversight of the home leading on support and safety.
  • You will be both a role model to the young people continually pushing for the highest standards.
  • Your support will betrauma-informed. You will understand peoples backgrounds and champion diversity and inclusion.
  • There is so much variety. You could be helping someone move and settle into their new home safety planning to reduce harm helping someone secure their desired job or secure the place on the training course they have aspired to support with independent living skills.


To be successful in this role youll need to be patient kind resilient professional with a calm and caring approach.

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.

^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. Youll need awell-maintained vehicle with valid tax MOT andInsurance covering business use.
