Job Summary

Description
At Marie Curie the best way to improve our care is by seeing it through the eyes of the people we support. Listening to patients and families helps us understand what were doing well and where we can improve. Feedback is essential to ensure our care meets the highest standards and reflects the needs of those we support.

People often feel more comfortable sharing honest feedback with volunteers making your role vital. Youll also help open up meaningful conversations about end-of-life experiences helping us learn improve and be there for everyone facing dying death and bereavement.

Availability: Up to 3 hours per week - flexible to suit

Time: Mornings or afternoons

Location: Marie Curie Hospice Speke Road Woolton Liverpool L25 8QA

Criteria: Minimum 18 years or older

What youll do:

  • Talk with patients and families to complete experience-of-care surveys
  • Listen actively and empathetically to people from all walks of life
  • Record experiences accurately in the persons own words and input data into an online system
  • Escalate concerns and share positive feedback with relevant teams
