Are you passionate about creativity and making a difference Join our team and help deliver inspiring group sessions that support people on their recovery journey. Youll encourage participation build confidence and help create a welcoming space where people can express themselves through art and creativity. Youll also have opportunities to develop your skills co-facilitate sessions and support community art trips.
What Youll Do
- Welcome and support clients in creative group sessions.
- Promote groups and encourage participation.
- Help prepare activities and session materials.
- Co-facilitate creative workshops and group discussions.
- Provide one-to-one support where needed.
- Assist with trips to art exhibitions and community events.
- Help review and develop new session ideas and resources.
- Re-engage clients who miss sessions and encourage their return.
What Were Looking For
- An interest in art crafts or creative activities.
- Good communication and people skills.
- A positive non-judgemental approach.
- Confidence reliability and enthusiasm to support others.
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
