Job Summary
Volunteer Engagement Lead
Salary:Up to45000 per annum pro rata(dependant on experience andskills).
Location:Remote(Home based with occasionaltravel& overnight staysthroughout the UK).
Contract:Permanent/Part Time 28 hours per week.

A bit about the role
As the Volunteer EngagementLeadyou willbe responsible forthe development and delivery of a strategic inclusive volunteering offer that ensures all volunteers have a positive rewarding experience and feel valued for their contribution.
Howyoullhelp to create brighter futures
Lead and implement a national volunteer engagement strategy aligned to organisational goals.
Champion a culture of inclusion diversity and belonging across volunteering.
Act as a subject matter expert and advisor on volunteer experience across the organisation.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Enhance volunteer recruitment developmentretentionand recognition.
Oversee volunteer communications policies and processes.
Use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement andimpactreporting.
Lead learning and development initiatives for volunteers and managers.
Ensure delivery ofourInvesting in VolunteerAccreditation.
Line manage and develop a Volunteer Engagement Advisor.
Letstalk about you
Evidence of continuous professional development in volunteer and people management.
Membership of the Association of Volunteer Managers and professional peer networks.
Proven experience developing and delivering volunteering strategies ideally within charity/not-for-profit.
Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at all levels.
Passion for volunteering with the ability to champion and lead change.
Experience building inclusive high-performing cultures.
Strong communicationleadershipand organisational skills.
Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g. GDPR volunteer-related employment law).
Experience designing learning and development opportunities.
