Our kitchens are at the heart of Naomi & Jacks providing a welcoming relaxed and friendly environment for everyone. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our chefs in delivering the high-quality catering service enjoyed by our patients families and staff. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team and help make a positive difference!
This role involves:
As a Kitchen Volunteer your duties may include:
- Laying tables
- Operating small dishwashers
- Assisting with the kitchen cleaning rota including cleaning fridges work surfaces store cupboards and kitchens across the hospice buildings
- Restocking supplies and replenishing food storage containers
With plenty going on in the kitchen this is a varied enjoyable and rewarding role. Whether you can spare time once a week or once a fortnight we would love to hear from you.
We provide a comprehensive induction and training programme along with ongoing support from our friendly team. We are committed to ensuring that all volunteers feel confident in their role have a positive volunteering experience and know how much their contribution is valued.
