Veterinary Surgeon (Surgical Orthopaedic Lead) – Future 24-Hour Hospital Opportunity

Due to growth this is an exciting opportunity to join Medivet Whittlesey Peterborough at a pivotal stage in our journey. Under the leadership of our Branch Partner Aaron whose expertise is in small animal medicine. We are looking at transitioning our successful first opinion practice into a state-of-the-art 24-hour veterinary hospital and were looking for an experienced MRCVS surgical bias surgeon to join the team.

This is a full time permanent role over 4 days (9am - 7pm) with a weekend rotation. Part time applications considered for the right individual. Ideally youll have a strong interest in surgery and orthopaedics be an Advanced Practitioner (or working towards one) and enjoy managing complex cases that would otherwise be referred.

Were committed to investing in your clinical interests whether thats expanding our orthopaedic capabilities with a TPLO kit additional surgical instrumentation or further enhancing our surgical facilities to support your expertise.

Youll be part of a welcoming fully staffed 12-person team including:

• 3 Veterinary Surgeons
• 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses
• 2 Veterinary Care Assistants
• 3 Client Care Assistants

Our modern practice is equipped with:

• Digital and dental radiography
• High-resolution ultrasound
• In-house laboratory
• Laparoscopic surgery suite
• Tonovet Plus and advanced ophthalmology equipment
