Were excited to welcome an enthusiastic and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly award-winning 6-vet team on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Role

This is a general practice role suited to a capable all-rounder who enjoys variety.

Youll be:

• Seeing a wide range of GP cases
• Comfortable with routine consultations and surgery
• Occasionally working in sole charge (with support always available from our other branch)
• Working closely with a collaborative experienced team

This role is ideally suited to an experienced vet but we remain open to those earlier in their career who have built a strong foundation.

Work-Life Balance

• 2 days per week approx. 20.4 hours per week
• We try to be as flexible as possible and are happy to discuss what works for you around commitments
• No out of hours or on-call
• Shared weekend rota: max 1 in 5 Saturday & Sunday mornings (clients only)
• Great Dunmow offers excellent transport links including easy access to the A120 nearby M11 and London Stansted Airport just 6 minutes drive away allowing our vets to maximise downtime thanks to quick convenient travel options.
