Vehicle Technicians

E-ppl Ltd is recruiting a dedicated team of Vehicle Technicians to deliver a critical fleet maintenance package at our Ashchurch site. Working as part of an autonomous E-ppl team under an outcomes-based package of work you will be responsible for ensuring the operational readiness safety and regulatory compliance of Stored and Sustainment Fleet platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspection & Servicing:Carry out diagnostic inspections routine servicing and repairs on designated vehicle platforms.
• Rectification & Prep:Perform follow-on maintenance to ensure safety and full compliance ahead of Mandatory Equipment Inspections.
• Fleet Upgrades:Bring vehicles up to required operational standards.
• Quality Assurance:Execute reworks and rectify defects identified during examination stages.
• Safety First:Maintain strict adherence to site Health & Safety policies at all times.

• Security Clearance:Must be willing to undergo BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) checks. E-ppl will fully sponsor and manage this process.
• Experience:Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician (military commercial or fleet experience is highly desirable).
• Qualifications:Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Skills:Strong diagnostic capabilities and familiarity with fleet asset tracking.
• PPE:Ability to provide your own standard coveralls and safety footwear.

Competitive Pay:19.00 per hour

Working Pattern:39 hours per week (Monday to Friday) with flexibility for overtime and shift variations as needed

Daily Allowance:25.00 tax-free per day to cover expenses and meals(location-dependent)

Hotel Lodging:Fully funded hotel accommodation provided(location-dependent)

Travel Expense:45p per mile mileage allowance calculated from your location(capped up to the Evo-to-Stockport route)
