If youre an experienced Vehicle Technician who takes pride in getting the job right first time this could be a strong opportunity to take your skills and earnings further.

Youll join an established and growing automotive retail business in Swindon with a basic salary depending on experience and qualifications a typical OTE of 50000 and the potential for strong performers to earn up to 60000.


THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a professional workshop environment where technical ability productivity and quality workmanship all matter.

The package includes:

• basic salary depending on experience and qualifications
• 50000 OTE with potential to reach 60000 for strong performers
• Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
• Saturdays on a rota basis
• 45-hour working week
• 31 days holiday including Bank Holidays

The role is predominantly focused on servicing maintenance and repair rather than heavy diagnostic work but youll still need to be confident using current diagnostic equipment when required.

Main dealership experience would be useful but the business is prepared to provide full training to the right person.


THE ROLE

• Service maintain and repair customer vehicles to a high standard
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
• Use current diagnostic equipment when required
• Follow manufacturer procedures and technical information
• Work towards agreed productivity and efficiency targets
• Deliver right-first-time workmanship across every job
• Complete accurate records and documentation for work carried out
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider aftersales team
• Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism across every vehicle

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR

Youll need:

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician
• Time-served Technician status
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
• The technical ability to service repair and maintain modern vehicles
• Confidence using current diagnostic equipment
• A proven track record of delivering right-first-time work
• Good communication skills
• A full UK driving licence

It would be great if you also have:

• Main dealership experience
• Manufacturer training or accreditation
• Experience working to workshop productivity and efficiency targets
• Additional diagnostic experience
• Experience with hybrid or electric vehicles
• MOT Tester qualification
