Were recruiting for an established automotive dealership in Staines that is looking to strengthen its Workshop team with an experienced Technician.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who is confident diagnosing faults carrying out complex repairs and working to a consistently high standard.

Youll be part of an established Workshop environment with opportunities to continue developing your skills and technical knowledge.

THE ROLE

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out servicing maintenance and repairs to a high standard
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify faults
• Complete inspections and identify additional work required
• Carry out work efficiently while maintaining a right-first-time approach
• Follow manufacturer and dealership procedures
• Maintain accurate records of work completed
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider Aftersales team
• Maintain high standards of safety quality and cleanliness within the Workshop

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Youll need:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability
• Confidence handling a varied workload
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A full UK driving licence
• Main dealership experience would be advantageous
• Relevant automotive qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 City & Guilds or equivalent
