An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Technician to join a successful main dealer in Romford. Whether youre newly qualified an experienced Technician or a Diagnostic/Master Technician this dealership offers outstanding manufacturer training genuine career progression and the chance to work within a supportive professional workshop.
If youre currently working in an independent garage and looking to move into the main dealer environment or youre already within a franchised dealership and looking for a fresh challenge this could be the perfect opportunity.
Basic salary from 27000 to 38000 depending on experience and qualifications.
Realistic OTE of up to 48000.
Monday to Friday only - enjoy every weekend off.
40-hour working week (8:00am - 5:00pm).

Junior / Inexperienced Technician
Basic Salary: 27000
OTE: 34000
Experienced Technician
Basic Salary: 33000 - 35000
OTE: 43000 - 45000
Diagnostic / Master Technician
Basic Salary: 35000 - 38000
OTE: 45000 - 48000
As part of a highly experienced aftersales team youll be responsible for:
Servicing maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.
Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
Completing warranty and routine servicing work.
Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where appropriate.
Using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and repair methods.
Maintaining accurate workshop records and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Supporting apprentices and junior technicians where appropriate.
Youll ideally have:
Level 3 NVQ City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within either a franchised dealership or independent workshop.
MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential).
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
A full UK Driving Licence.
