VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
BASIC SALARY 45000 OTE MONDAYFRIDAY 8:30AM5:00PM 1 IN 3 SATURDAYS
THE OPPORTUNITY

Were looking for a highly experienced Vehicle Technician to join an established automotive dealership.
This is a great opportunity for a Technician with strong technical knowledge and excellent diagnostic skills who is confident handling more complex repairs and takes pride in delivering work to a high standard.

THE ROLE
Youll be responsible for servicing repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards with a particular focus on maintaining high-quality technical work across the Workshop.

Youll be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
• Carrying out technical inspections and identifying additional work required.
• Supporting less experienced Technicians where required.
• Working efficiently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Maintaining accurate job cards and workshop records.
• Working closely with Service Advisors and the wider Aftersales team.
• Helping maintain a clean organised and professional Workshop environment.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
Were looking for someone with strong technical ability and a good depth of automotive experience.

Youll need:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Confidence working on more complex technical jobs.
• Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and support the wider Workshop team.
• Good communication skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Franchised dealership experience would be advantageous particularly for someone with strong manufacturer knowledge and diagnostic experience.
