So lets cut to the chase.

An independent specialist garage in Guildford is getting busier and needs another pair of capable hands. Were open to Technicians at different levels so whether youre a Level 2 Apprentice/Improver still learning the ropes or a seasoned Senior Tech who can identify a mysterious knocking noise from 50 yards away wed like to hear from you.

What Youll Be Doing

Servicing repairs diagnostics and general mechanical work across a variety of vehicles.

If youve got VAG experience even better. If not dont panic its not a deal breaker.

Youll have access to training on diagnostic equipment hybrid and EV systems as well as IMI training and development.

Because apparently cars now need more computers than a small office.

Youll be working in a busy independent specialist garage where getting the job done properly matters and where theres plenty of opportunity to keep developing your skills.

Who Are We Looking For

Were looking for someone who knows which end of a screwdriver to use.

Joking aside youll need at least 1 years workshop experience and a genuine interest in developing your technical ability.

Were happy to consider:

• Level 2 Apprentices / Improvers
• Vehicle Technicians
• Diagnostic Technicians
• Senior Technicians

Youll need a full UK driving licence with a maximum of 6 points in line with company policy.

VAG experience would be great but were more interested in what you can actually do than how many manufacturer logos youve collected over the years.

• Up to 50000 basic salary depending on experience
• Overtime paid at time & a half
• 20 days annual holiday

And yes the parking is actually onsite.

No parking two streets away and pretending the 10-minute walk is part of your warm-up routine.

The Hours

Monday to Friday 7:30am5:30pm.

Two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch.

Straightforward workshop hours. No you may occasionally be required... followed by a paragraph explaining that youll basically live here.
