A thriving independent bodyshop with an excellent local reputation is looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join its growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled estimator who wants to be part of a fast-paced high-quality operation where their experience is genuinely valued. Responsibilities

• Carry out accurate vehicle damage assessments and repair estimates
• Work closely with technicians and workshop staff to manage repair progress
• Liaise with customers and insurers professionally throughout the repair process
• Identify additional repair requirements where necessary
• Ensure all estimates and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently
• Help maintain high standards of repair quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA
• Strong understanding of bodyshop repair processes
• Experience using estimating systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
• ATA qualification advantageous but not essential

Salary and Benefits

• Basic salary: 40000 - 45000
• Monday to Friday only 8:00am to 5:00pm
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
• No weekends
• Established independent business with a strong reputation
