The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 4 and 5

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students understanding of business concepts and real-world commercial practices

• Inspire students to explore entrepreneurship finance marketing operations and the wider business environment

• Support students of all abilities through inclusive and differentiated teaching strategies

• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Business examinations

• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and innovative departmental resources

• Support enrichment opportunities such as enterprise competitions business societies guest speaker events and educational visits

• Monitor student progress and provide timely constructive feedback

• Play an active role in the pastoral life of the school including form tutor responsibilities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Has a degree in Business Economics Management Finance or a related discipline

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Business education

• Is committed to developing their teaching practice as an Early Career Teacher

• Has high expectations for student achievement engagement and behaviour

• Is reflective enthusiastic and dedicated to continuous professional development
