Job Summary
Role: Regimental Medical Officer Provide healthcare in barracks and on operations principal unit advisor on health lead the unit medical team.
Responsibilities:
Advise the CO on all medical matters including deployability force protection and significant trends in injury or illness patterns.
Provide medical advice to the Unit Health Committee meetings (CMCRs and UQHRs) iaw AGAI 57.
Promote Regimental health and encourage illness/disease prevention activities iaw unit PT and rehab policy and SG Policy.
Supervise and assist in the continuing professional development of junior clinical staff and Cbt Med Techs within the unit.
Provide primary healthcare and pre-hospital emergency care to all entitled personnel as directed by SMO and/or RCD.
Provide occupational health support and advice to entitled service personnel both Regular and Reserve as directed.
Responsible for Healthcare Governance of the UAP.
