About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled UAT Tester with strong Payments domain expertise to join a leading
Investment Bank in Glasgow. This role is critical to ensuring the quality and success of the Market
Expansion program in Payments by delivering thorough end-to-end User Acceptance Testing
(UAT) for new enhancements and business-as-usual releases.
Key Responsibilities
Define and manage UAT scope and plans for all releases
Collaborate with stakeholders across Products Operations Technology and Vendor teams
Design comprehensive test scenarios covering functional integration and regression testing
Support automation adoption and maintenance of test scripts
Execute UAT cycles and validate end-to-end business processes
Identify log and manage defects through to resolution
Own UAT governance reporting and adherence to testing standards
knowledge in at least one of the following:
Payments Domain: ISO 20022 messaging cross-border and domestic payments FX/non-FX
processing payment lifecycle and reconciliation
Liquidity Domain: Cash management sweeps liquidity optimization core banking integration
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with testing tools and governance frameworks
Basic technical understanding of system architecture APIs logs and backend validation
Strong analytical debugging and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work effectively in complex multi-vendor and release-driven environments
