Trustee Role – THE ELLA ROWCROFT ENDOWMENT TRUST

The Ella Rowcroft Endowment Trust was established to create a long-term permanent endowment for Rowcroft Hospice so that it can continue to deliver the highest possible standard of care to more patients and their families living with life-limited illnesses in South Devon for generations to come. The Endowment Trust is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) sitting alongside Rowcroft Hospice.

We are looking for a new trustee to join this exciting Trust.

The ideal candidates will be highly successful business leaders or entrepreneurs have a good understanding or experience of managing investments and either have strong networks or a willingness to build them within the Ultra High Net Worth community.

We are looking for dynamic enthusiastic and motivated professionals.

Boardmeetings will usually beheld twice a year. YouwillrepresentThe Ella Rowcroft Endowment Trust withinthecommunityandbeanactiveparticipantin its future growth and direction.

Rowcroft Hospice is a well-respected and supported charity which has had a presence in the South West for over 40 years. From Dartmouth to Dawlish its teams provide medical social and spiritual support to care for over 2500 patients with life-limiting illnesses every year across South Devon. Care is provided at home in the community and at its Inpatient Unit in Torquay and its board are committed to make every day the best it can be for all patients and their families living with life limiting illnesses in South Devon.

Rowcroft has a dynamic and friendly board and a strong executive team who jointly own an ambitious 5-year strategy covering the clinical and commercial imperatives of the charity ensuring it meets the changing demographic needs of the local community. The Ella Rowcroft Endowment Trust has been established as part of this strategy and will be integral in ensuring the long-term vitality of the Hospice.

This is a voluntary unpaid position but reasonable travel expenses will be paid.

As a registered charity we will be completing DBS checks on all successful applicants
