Job Summary
Malaria Consortium is recruiting a new Trustee with governance expertise.
We are seeking a Trustee with strong governance experience to join our Board and contribute to the effective governance and oversight of Malaria Consortium.
The Trustee will support the Board in fulfilling its strategic and fiduciary responsibilities bringing insight into effective governance practices and Board-level decision-making. They will contribute to discussions on organisational strategy accountability risk management and performance helping to ensure that the charity continues to operate with integrity transparency and strong oversight.
We are particularly interested in candidates with governance expertise who can support the charity and the Board in fulfilling their oversight responsibilities. This includes experience of effective Board-level ways of working sound judgement in complex organisational environments and an understanding of how governance structures enable accountability prudent risk management and high-quality strategic decision-making within a charity operating at scale. We are especially interested in candidates who bring experience of engaging with government or public institutions at a senior level and who understand how public policy parliamentary processes and government systems shape the operating environment for international charities.
This role would suit someone with significant senior leadership governance public policy or Board-level experience. Previous experience as a Trustee Non-Executive Director or member of a governance committee would be advantageous but is not essential.
