Training Specialist
Location: Midlands Brackmills Northampton or Mercia Park (DE12) with regular travel required)
Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week

As our Contract Logistics division continues to grow we are looking for a Training Specialist to help develop our people support system implementations and drive operational excellence across our is a varied role where you will help colleagues build the knowledge skills and confidence they need to succeed. Regular travel to DSV sites across the UK will be required to support training delivery system migrations and business work will have a direct impact on employee development operational performance and the successful implementation of new customers and systems across our Contract Logistics network.

What will you be doing

Deliver WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) training programmes across Contract Logistics operations.
Support WMS migrations system implementations and onboarding activities for new customers.
Partner with operational stakeholders to identify development needs and deliver effective training solutions.
Facilitate soft skills training for Team Leaders Supervisors and Managers.
Contribute to the design development and delivery of training initiatives that support business objectives.
Support sites in achieving and maintaining training compliance standards.
Conduct training reviews and audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
Maintain accurate training records schedules and training documentation.
Assist in the development of e-learning content and digital training tools.
Identify skills gaps and recommend development solutions that improve performance and capability.
Continuously develop your own knowledge and maintain training standards across the business.

About You

Experience delivering training within an operational or logistics environment.
Strong knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) preferably Blue Yonder
Excellent communication facilitation and presentation skills.
Effective people skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
A positive approachable and collaborative working style.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Level 3 English proficiency.
Ability to identify development needs and recommend practical solutions.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
A willingness to undergo any required internal/external training to develop your own skills and knowledge.
Experience of Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations or project lifecycles desirable
Experience analysing operational performance and identifying improvement opportunities beneficial
A recognised training qualification or experience delivering training to operational teams advantageous
Strong IT aptitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning.
