Trainee Surveyor

Location: Hybrid Burnley. The role will initially be office-based during the training period. After training a minimum of one day per week in the office will be required in line with our Surveyor roles. Candidates must also be willing to travel across the region and occasionally to other regions for training and meetings.

Salary: 32936 per annum (including car allowance)

2 year Fixed Term Contract 35 hours per week Monday Friday.

About the role

Join our team as a Trainee Surveyor and help deliver high-quality maintenance services to our customers. Youll carry out property inspections assess repairs and work with contractors to ensure standards are met - especially in light of new responsibilities underAwaabs Law which requires prompt action on damp mould and emergency repairs to protect tenant health.

This is a hands-on learning role where youll shadow experienced surveyors build your technical and customer service skills and work towards a professional qualification. Trainee Salary

The spot salary for this post is 31686 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. If youre still developing some of the skills or experience you can start at a salary 5% or 10% below the spot rate with clear support and progression opportunities to reach the full amount.

Youll also receive a car allowance starting at 1250 per annum.

About you

• A keen interest in building maintenance and working alongside contractors to deliver reactive maintenance services
• Willingness to work towards and achieve Level 3 BTech in the Built Environment
• Minimum of 5 x GCSE level 4 (grade C ) or above including English and Maths
• Evidence of regular study in support of continued professional development
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• IT literacy including proficiency in using company operational software systems

The successful applicant will be subject to preemployment checks such as DBS and social media screening before an offer is confirmed.

Interviews

A role related Excel assessment and behavioural and scenario-based interview focused on how you apply your knowledge to real-life situations. Youll be asked to complete a Customer Service Questionnaire in advance.
Planned date: Week Commencing 2nd November at our Stockton office.
