Trainee Fund Accountant (Fund Services)

Purpose of the Role

Kick-start your accounting career with our Fund Services team. As a Trainee Fund Accountant youll gain hands-on experience in fund accounting financial reporting and client servicing while learning from experienced professionals in a supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop valuable technical skills work towards a professional qualification and build a long-term career in financial services.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of fund accounts financial reports and client deliverables.
• Gain practical experience in bookkeeping transaction processing and financial record management.
• Work with clients auditors and other professional advisers to support reporting deadlines.
• Learn about accounting standards regulatory requirements and fund structures.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues while building your technical knowledge and professional skills.

Qualifications :

Knowledge Skills and Experience 

• This is an entry level role which would suit a recent graduate in a relevant subject or someone with relevant work experience: 
• A good grounding in accounting skills eg from an Accounting or Finance related degree and relevant experience. 
• Good presentational written and verbal communication skills 
• Solid Excel Word and general IT skills
