Labcorp is seeking a Trainee Animal Care Technician to join our Metabolism team in Harrogate North Yorkshire.

Work Schedule: Monday Thursday 7.45am 4pm Friday 7.45am 3.30pm. 1 in 3 weekends as overtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Acclimatisation of animals to their surroundings

• Ensuring that animal enclosures are maintained

• Cleaning out kennels pens and cages and changing bedding

• Exercising dogs and socialising with the animals

• Handling feeding and watering animals

• Accurately recording vital animal information like body weights

Minimum Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE Level to include English and Maths

Preferred Qualifications:

• Animal Care Level 2 OR Animal Management Level 3

• Institute of Animal Technology qualification

• Previous experience working with animals

• Passion for our industry

• Enthusiastic and committed attitude

• Reliable with a hardworking approach to the job
