Squarepoint is seeking a hands-on Trading Infrastructure Support (TIS) Tech Lead to manage a global TIS team. The candidate will lead a team of support specialist ensuring high availability of Squarepoints mission-critical infrastructure systems and platform application services across APAC EMEA and AMER regions.
Manage a 24x5 global support schedule and weekend on-call rotation.
Define policies processes roadmaps and best practices to meet SLAs and scale with business needs.
Collaborate with service teams to build automation self-service tools and runbooks. Ensure the team is trained skilled and empowered to remove blockers and inefficiencies.
Proactively identify and eliminate inefficiencies across workflows and operations.
Leadand coordinate technical efforts across the global support team.
Stay hands-on with troubleshooting andleadmajor outage recovery efforts to minimize impact.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:
5 years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix administration (RHEL/CentOS/OEL preferred).
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices including observability orchestration containerization automated testing deployment pipelines and configuration management.
3 years of experienceleading a technology team ideally in infrastructure support.
Exceptional verbal written and organizational skills.
Strong customer service orientation and strategic mindset.
Excellent analytical prioritization and problem-solving abilities.
Working knowledge of storage protocols (NFS GPFS a plus).
Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Chef Puppet Ansible).
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP multicast tcpdump PTP NTP).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
ITIL knowledge is a plus.
The minimum base salary for this role is $100000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. This role may also be eligible for benefits such as health dental and other wellness plans as well as 401(k) contributions.
