Were looking for an experienced Trade Counter Sales Person to join our successful Fareham branch.

This is not a role where youll be hidden behind a desk. Youll be at the heart of the branch serving customers face-to-face handling enquiries driving sales growth and helping to keep the branch running smoothly. If you take pride in giving great advice and exceptional service wed like to hear from you.

What Youll Be Doing

As one of the key people in our branch youll be:

• Serving trade and retail customers at the counter providing knowledgeable advice and excellent service.
• Building strong relationships with existing customers and developing new business opportunities.
• Handling customer enquiries by phone email and in person.
• Processing quotes and orders accurately and efficiently.
• Identifying opportunities to upsell and promote products and branch initiatives.
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive outstanding service every time they visit.

Youll be someone who:

• Enjoys dealing with customers and solving problems.
• Has confidence speaking with tradespeople and contractors in branch and on the phone.
• Understands the importance of product knowledge and customer relationships.
• Is commercially minded and enjoys identifying sales opportunities.
• Takes ownership and works well in a small team.
• Isnt afraid to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed.
