TikTok now has over 30 million monthly users in the UK its biggest user base anywhere in Europe. The business is backing that growth hard: its opening a new 135000 sq ft office in Barbican in early 2026 on top of the Farringdon HQ taking total UK infrastructure investment to around 140 million. The UK workforce is set to grow to 3000 people this year alone.
On top of that a 2026 Public First report found TikTok contributed 10 billion to the UK economy in 2025 and supported 153000 jobs across the country.
This role sits within that growth story. As TikTok scales its UK operations the Procurement team plays a direct part in how that expansion is resourced particularly across recruitment staffing and executive search spend. Its a genuine opportunity to help shape procurement strategy inside one of the fastest growing platforms in the country not just process purchase orders for one.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for procurement activities within the recruitment services category
- Manage purchase requests for recruitment services execute the procurement process and maintain organised data records
- Process purchase orders and ensure efficient handling of sourcing requirements
- Support project bidding by assisting with documentation report preparation and bidding coordination
- Conduct market research and data analysis across staffing services executive search and background check industries to support informed procurement decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or above preferred
- Strong analytical and independent thinking skills with a collaborative approach. Relevant procurement experience preferred
- Proficient in Office software (particularly Excel) ERP and OA systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with a strong sense of teamwork
- Quick learner honest dependable highly responsible and positive with strong professional values
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Chinese is preferred
