As Third in Charge youll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the nursery mentoring colleagues and helping to ensure every child receives the highest standard of care as they prepare for their next stage of education.
Who Were Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification
Previous experience as a Room Leaderor above essential
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to support and motivate colleagues
Passion for delivering outstanding childcare and early years education

Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
Lead practice across the setting and act as a role model for colleagues
Deliver and promote high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
Support staff development mentoring and training
Build positive relationships with children families and professionals
Help maintain safeguarding compliance and operational standards
Support childrens learning development and school readiness
Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior management
