35200 per annum 40 hours per week All Year Round

The nursery has been thoughtfully designed to support children at every stage of their development creating a calm nurturing space where curiosity and creativity can flourish.

This role presents a great opportunity for an experienced early years professional to step into a Third in Charge position playing a key role in supporting the leadership team and maintaining high standards across the setting. You will be instrumental in helping to shape daily practice support staff development and ensure a consistent high-quality experience for children and families.

What Were Looking For

• Level 3 Early Years qualification essential
• Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner essential
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing caring approach to childcare
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and motivate a team
• Strong communication skills when working with families and colleagues
• Passion for delivering high-quality early years care and education

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Nursery Manager and Deputy in the day-to-day running of the setting
• Acting as a role model for best practice across the nursery
• Supporting the delivery of high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
• Leading practice within rooms and supporting team performance
• Building strong relationships with children families and colleagues
• Monitoring childrens development and supporting staff with observations
• Assisting with safeguarding compliance and operational standards
• Stepping into leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior management
