An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Third in Charge to join a Good Ofsted-rated nursery supporting the day-to-day leadership of the setting. This role is ideal for an established Room Leader ready to progress working closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy to maintain high standards of care and education.
The nursery offers excellent indoor facilities alongside a standout outdoor space designed for young children where outdoor learning plays a key role in delivering the EYFS curriculum.
What Were Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification
Previous experience as a Room Leader or above
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Experience supporting mentoring and motivating early years teams
Excellent leadership organisational and communication skills
A passion for outdoor learning and delivering exceptional childcare
across the nursery

Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
Lead practice across the setting and act as a role model for colleagues
Support and mentor practitioners to deliver outstanding early years education
Help maintain exceptional standards of care safeguarding and EYFS practice
Promote engaging indoor and outdoor learning experiences that inspire children to explore and discover
Monitor childrens learning and development through observations and assessments
Build strong relationships with children families and external professionals
Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior management
