What Were Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification
Previous experience as a Room Leader or above
Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Good knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A genuine enthusiasm for outdoor learning and Forest School practice

Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager with the day-to-day running of the nursery
Lead by example and promote high standards of care and education across the setting
Support and mentor practitioners to deliver outstanding practice
Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Support and participate in Forest School sessions and outdoor learning activities
Build strong relationships with children families and colleagues
Monitor childrens development and support high-quality observations and assessments
Ensure safeguarding health & safety and nursery standards are consistently maintained
Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of senior management
All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements including an enhanced DBS check satisfactory references and verification of the right to work in the UK in line with safeguarding responsibilities.
