Job Summary
We have an wonderful opportunity due to growth for a Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team on a part time basis.
Your role would be to work alongside our skilled team of therapists to support and enhance the lives of our students with special educational needs. This role will include a lot of administrative duties so experience with word and Microsoft are essential.
A day in the life of a Therapy Assistant:
- Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and materials
- Provide therapeutic input to students under supervision of the therapists.
- Document student progress and communicate with teachers
- Promote student independence and skill development
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
Hours of work 14hours per week term time
Qualifications
- Strong background in Microsoft and Word
- Experience working with children with special needs (preferred but not essential)
