Test Engineer

The role

Due to growth we are seeking Test Engineer to join our Materials Science and Engineering department who wants to develop their skills and progress within a successful global business. We provide testing and consultative support for a range of clients in multiple industry sectors. Our technical support services are world leading and include failure diagnosis design and process optimisation of polymer materials.

You will be responsible for:

• Liaising with senior testing team to understand test requirements and progress projects.
• Performing test programmes
• Assisting in the development of new test methods.
• Supporting the maintenance and efficient organisation of equipment resources.

The person

The ideal candidate will:

• Have demonstrated competence and knowledge in multiple polymer testing techniques
• Have experience or knowledge of stress and fatigue testing mechanical properties testing environmental exposure testing and accelerated aging.
• Be computer literate demonstrating good competence in Excel Word Outlook plus the ability to learn in-house systems.
• Have excellent communication skills
