This role:
We are looking for a Temporary Works Coordinator to come and join our growing team.
This will be someone who challenges what we do daily and thrives working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines helping us build for the future.
Act as the Temporary Works Coordinator across multiple Sinewave projects ensuring consistent and safe coordination of all temporary works activities.
Manage and maintain the Temporary Works Register ensuring all designs checks approvals and inspections are accurately recorded and up to date.
Liaise with Temporary Works designers including site teams and other stakeholders to coordinate requirements and resolve technical queries.
Review and approve temporary works designs in line with BS5975 and project-specific requirements.
Ensure all temporary works are safe compliant and fit for purpose with appropriate design categories checks and sign-off procedures in place.
Carry out site inspections and verification activities to confirm temporary works are installed used adapted and dismantled in accordance with approved designs.
Provide practical engineering and technical input to support site teams where temporary works considerations arise.
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations Sinewave HSQE standards and statutory obligations escalating issues where needed.
Coordinate Temporary Works Briefings and ensure relevant personnel are informed trained and competent for their temporary works responsibilities.
Support the continuous improvement of temporary works processes enhancing documentation safe systems of work and project controls.

Youll have a proven track record of:
- Proficient in the use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptops etc.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt communication styles
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to use own initiative as well as work collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent listening skills with ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in maintaining registers documentation and compliance records.
Good judgement and confident decision-making when managing safety-critical temporary works activities.
Effective problem-solving skills with a practical solution-focused approach on site.
Strong risk awareness with the ability to identify assess and escalate safety concerns promptly.
Ability to build productive working relationships and influence stakeholders across site and design teams.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points
Temporary Works Coordinator Training Course (TWCTC) or recognised equivalent (e.g. CITB-accredited).
Demonstrable experience working in a construction environment ideally in a role involving temporary works site engineering or safety-critical coordination.
Strong knowledge of BS5975 and temporary works procedures controls and design check processes.
Practical experience managing temporary works documentation registers permits and design approvals
Working knowledge of CDM regulations and safe systems of work within construction projects.

Required Skills:
When you join you will go through our top-notch induction and onboarding process and have opportunities to develop further through our in house training academy. Youll have a proven track record of: Assessing potentially hazardous and dangerous situations taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of personnel other site operatives and the public. Undertaking site specific risk assessments and creating RAMS and competent in issuing and cancelling safety documents. Ensuring personnel and your wider team understand duties under safety documents. Carrying out network operations under instruction from the Network Control Engineer. Understanding the local network anomalies and ensuring correct phase rotation. Youll already have experience & qualifications in: Currently hold (or have held) authorisations up to 33kV including permit to work (accepting 11KV with extensive experience). CSCS (affiliated). The use of Productivity and Collaboration Software such as Microsoft Office Microsoft Teams SharePoint etc. across multiple platforms such as smart phones tablets laptops etc. Full UK driving license (Maximum of 3 points).
