Summary
- The TechnologyOne Financials System SME is a 6-month contract role with a local authority focused on providing specialist expertise for the implementation configuration testing optimization and deployment of the TechnologyOne Financial Management System. This position is crucial for ensuring that the systems functionality aligns with business requirements supports best-practice financial processes and achieves the desired project outcomes. The role involves close collaboration with project stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient financial management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise on TechnologyOne Financials functionality and system capabilities.
- Support the configuration and implementation of TechnologyOne Financials modules in accordance with agreed business requirements.
- Review and validate system design configuration and business processes.
- Recommend best-practice solutions to maximize the use of standard TechnologyOne functionality.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Review current financial processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Ensure system processes align with organizational policies controls and financial regulations.
- Support process redesign and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Essential Experience Required
- Extensive experience implementing configuring and supporting TechnologyOne Financials solutions.
- Experience delivering financial systems or ERP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of finance processes controls and reporting requirements.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and defect resolution.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Degree-level qualification in Finance Accounting Information Systems Business Administration or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in TechnologyOne Financials systems.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37.50 hours per week.
- We operate on a bi-weekly schedule.
