*This is a hybrid-working role contractually based in Chelmsford. The role allows for some home-working with a requirement to attend the office 2-3 days per week in line with business need. So if you have knowledge of the LGPS and extensive experience in dealing with and training Councillors and other stakeholders on all things governance and you can bring a supportive mindset committed to continuous improvement for yourself and those around you wed love to hear from you. Essential Criteria 1 Extensive knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations and associated legislation. 2 Understanding of The Pensions Regulators General Code. 3 Demonstrable experience in LGPS governance and compliance including delivering LGPS (technical) training programmes and expert advice/guidance to Boards Committees. Although not essential it is our preference to have the successful candidate in post by 1 November 2026.
