Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service while working on technical projects that help shape vital water infrastructure Were looking for a Technical Coordinator to support developers customers SLPs and NAVs through a range of water network applications and projects. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical knowledge stakeholder management and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.


As a Technical Coordinator youll act as a key point of contact for customers and stakeholders managing applications and providing technical support across a range of developer services activities. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Supporting customers through application processes for water mains diversions Self-Lay and NAV schemes.
  • Reviewing and vetting designs and quotations for developer services schemes.
  • Managing customer enquiries via phone email and online portals.
  • Liaising with developers contractors and internal teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
  • Reviewing capacity checks and ensuring schemes meet industry and company standards.
  • Representing Southern Water at meetings with customers and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the successful delivery of projects in line with regulatory requirements and service level commitments.

What were looking for

Were seeking someone with:

  • Experience in a customer-facing or stakeholder-facing role.
  • Knowledge of the Water Industry preferred or other utilities
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organisation prioritisation and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver to challenging timescales.
  • A collaborative approach and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Good IT skills and confidence working across multiple systems.
  • A Full Uk driving license

Qualifications

Preferably Educated to HNC/D or Degree level in Civil Engineering or Water based subject

Additional information:

In line with Southern Waters security requirements successful candidates will be required to provide evidence of their identity eligibility to work in the UK criminal record check (DBS) and verification of their employment and/or education history for the past three years. Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of all pre-employment checks including security vetting.


This role is subject to enhanced pre-employment security screening. Applicants will need to have lived in the UK for the previous 3 years to enable the required checks to be completed
